Hi, I'm new to the community.

Sooo...here's my favorite and least favorite things about Sara Douglass/Wayfarer Redemption series? (I'm not familiar with her other works.)

Warning: most of this will probably be pretty unorthodox.

Long rant LJ-cutted. For ranty-ness, and minor spoilage.

Sooo...discuss? I'm interested in hearing what other people think. And good to know I'm not alone in my rabid Axis/Azhure hate. ;)

Hi everyone, I read Sara Douglass's Troy Game series ages ago, and suddenly decided to try some of her other books. I read all The Crucible books first and last week picked up the Axis trilogy and the Wayfarer Redemption trilogy. I read all six of them in five days! Anyway, I'm looking forward to talking about all these fantastic books - but not until I've read The Serpent Bride, since I don't want to read any spoilers.

I'm from Australia, and apart from Sara Douglass, my favourite authors are Philip Pullman, Isobelle Carmody, Jacqueline Carey, Cecillia Dart-Thornton, Lian Hearn, Anne Rice, Kate Elliott and Jo Walton.

Hi, I'm new to this community, so I thought I'd just introduce myself.

I've just been reading Beyond The Hanging Wall and I'd forgotten how good Sara Douglass' books are! I haven't been able to put it down. I live in Australia, and am finding it quite unusual to have books released here before the US, so I have read the first Darkglass Mountain book. I was just wondering if anyone knew when the next one would be released? Or if there's any site or mailing list I could join that could tell me?

Thanks!

So I have started reading the wayfarer redemdtion series again. I just finished battleaxe last night. I am starting on enchanter. I first read them in high school And I realized that I view the books a little differently than now. And I suppose your view changes when you know how it all happens. Interesting. Morningstar is a little creepy in my point of view. lol. I don't know why. Just the whole grandma thing. The cousin incest thing is a little more understandable.

So I haven't read the tencendor books in a while. Can someone please refresh my memory as what happened to Zenith in the second trilogy. I would reread but my cousin borrowed the last three books and I can't look it up. Or read them again for that matter.
