Hello all! I got into Sara Douglass four years ago, though I haven't read anything past her Axis Trilogy/Wayfarer Redemption chunk of books (that is including the two side books, too).

Don't know if it's been talked about, but I figure the timeline of those particular books go like this:

Threshold
Axis Trilogy
Beyond the Hanging Wall (though this might blend with the last bit of the Trilogy...)
Wayfarer Redemption
Darkglass Mountain

I'm upset more people don't know about her series. I finally met someone in the mall who just heard of her (started reading Troy Game, I think). Oh well, I spread the word everywhere. I don't have the second book to Darkglass Mountain yet (so many books are coming out that I need to read!), but that's next on my list.

Beyond the Hanging Wall starts when Max is kidnapped. Seventeen years after that is when it ends and they mention (I think, I'd have to reread it) the mines had already fallen in the beginning of Wayfarer Redeption series.

I love how they overlap, though. I remember starting with Axis Trilogy and then finding Threshold in the library and reading that. Then I got Beyond the Hanging Wall. I recognized some of the names, but didn't fully connect everything until I finally picked up Wayfarer Redeption. :) Then I went to my friends (who had just read Axis Trilogy) and shoved it to them and said, "OH MY GOD LOOK!"
